Office for Student Services

The Office for Student Services acts as the liaison for law students with the faculty and administration and provides a wide range of support for students and student organizations. The Office for Student Services:

Coordinates orientation, graduation, and other school-wide events;
Advises the Student Bar Association and other student organizations;
Manages disability accommodations;
Provides personal counseling;
Provides information about University rules and policies;
Works with student organizations to plan events;
Assists with student housing issues;
Collaborates with a variety of University and Law School offices to provide a wide range of support and services;
Refers students to Penn State and other community resources;
Coordinates Academic Support Programs.

Spring 2008

Commencement

Commencement activities will begin on Friday, May 9, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., with a reception for graduates, their families and guests at the Advantica Building in Carlisle and at the Nittany Lion Inn in University Park.

Commencement will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 10, on the campus of Dickinson College on the lawn in front of Old West (faces High Street between West and College Streets). The ceremony is outdoors, rain or shine, and the program will last about 90 minutes. You may have as many guests as you like; no tickets are required.

Following the ceremony, there will be a picnic for graduates and their guests across the street on the lawn on the corner of College and High Streets.

Bar Review Class

Learn about the bar review class open to all third-year students free of charge on five Saturdays during spring semester.

Request a Tutor

First-year students may request tutoring assistance for substantive spring courses (Con Law, Contracts, and Property).

Shuttle Schedule
