Summer 2008 Registration Tips
You will find the Summer 2008 course offerings on the Schedule of Courses (SOC).

SECTION NUMBERS:
- Administrative Law and Evidence are being offered only in Carlisle. Carlisle and UP based students should schedule the 100 numbered section. UP based students must plan on attending class in Carlisle, these courses will not be offered via AV.
- Field Placement, Study Abroad and/or Independent Study — Carlisle based students should schedule the 100 numbered sections and UP based students should schedule the 200 numbered sections.
INDEPENDENT STUDY:
A full-time faculty member must approve your project. Before scheduling your independent study, you should meet with the faculty member to discuss the details of your project. After you have approval from a faculty member, you may schedule PERSP 996 online. After scheduling, you will be requested to provide the name of the faculty member you will be working with.
FIELD PLACEMENTS:
Prior approval is necessary to register for a summer field placement. All paperwork for the approval must be completed by April 25. Interested students should read our general field placement information and our more specific field placement information. After you have read all of this information, then contact Professor Krome to discuss your interest in a field placement.
ACADEMIC ADVISING:
If you need assistance in selecting courses, please contact your faculty advisor. You will find the name of your faculty advisor on eLion.
REGISTRATION TIMETABLE AND NOTES:
- Registration will open Thursday, March 27 at 12:01 a.m. You will be registering on eLion.
- You may view the eLion demo site, if you would like to see how the online registration system works.
- If you intend to receive financial aid for your summer courses, you must be enrolled at least half time (6 credits).
- Holds — if you have a hold on your record, it will prohibit you from using the online registration system. You should work to resolve any holds prior to March 27.
