Estimated Expenses
Tuition
Tuition charges for the program are $4,000. Individual sessions cost $1,500. All tuition charges must be paid by April 30, 2008. You may take all six or fewer credits.
Student Loans
Students may apply for loans to cover the cost of tuition and living expenses. Lending arrangements must be made by the borrower through the school at which the student is enrolled.
Housing
Housing in Montréal is a great bargain, particularly in the summer. Several housing options exist for the program, ranging from close and convenient dormitory housing to furnished luxury apartments near the campus. Prices range from $600 Canadian/month for dormitory accommodation, to $1,700 Canadian/month for a one bedroom luxury apartment, including A/C, health club membership, and pool. A number of students have been successful in securing housing through private arrangements (e.g., sublets). [Prices and exchange rates are subject to change.] A housing memo complete with details on the various housing options will be sent to all enrolled students. Students are responsible for securing their own housing. The directors of the program have made a serious effort to locate housing that is affordable and convenient but which also maximizes student's exposure to the culture and nightlife of Montréal. Please be mindful that Montréal can get hot in the summer; A/C is necessary when this happens.
