Penn State Law holds moot on NFL caseGenerations of law students have been challenged by the “Socratic method” of persistent questioning from their professors, but it was two law professors who were questioned by federal judges on Friday, November 20. Students took a break from the proverbial “hot seat” to hear the mooting of American Needle v. NFL, an antitrust case briefed before the United States Supreme Court and scheduled for argument in January. Law School announces new faculty appointments Professor Simon participates in World Economic ForumProfessor Denis Simon of the School of International Affairs participated in the 3rd Annual "Summer Davos" meeting of the World Economic Forum held September 1-12 in Dalian, China. Professor Simon was the special guest of Dalian Mayor Li Wancai and Party Secretary Xia Deren. Since 2007, the World Economic Forum has selected China as a special platform to bring together a large number of global entrepreneurs, young scientists, and future leaders to address some of the world's most complex issues.
