The Bankruptcy Judges Division’s Public Information Series pamphlet provides basic information to debtors, creditors, court personnel, the media, and the general public on different aspects of the federal bankruptcy laws.


Bankruptcy Statistics

The Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts compiles statistics on bankruptcy filings for each quarter ending December, March, June and September. Quarterly and 12-month statistics are available approximately 2 months after the close of a quarter.
