Trial Moot Court Board

The Trial Moot Court Board is the student-run organization that manages the annual Trial Moot Court program. This program is coordinated with the Advocacy II course, which consists of the preparation and execution of an entire case, from initial client interviews through a full-scale jury trial on the merits. Candidates for Board membership prepare the trial problems for the Advocacy II course in the problem writing competition conducted in the fall semester of their second year of law school. Board members then supervise the preparation and presentation of their trial problems, attending all witness interviews, depositions, pretrial motions, and the trial, which is presided over by a Court of Common Pleas or Federal District Court judge.

A student may earn two credits in the fall semester of their third year for membership on the Trial Moot Court Board.

Congratulations to the selections for membership on the 2008 Trial Moot Court Board!
