NEW BUSINESS
1. TOASTMASTERS APPLICATION
  1. Inviting Bob Casey to speak on the law school debt relief
  2. Rax Chavez, Matthew Muckler, and Krista Klett presented the proposal
  3. Would like the event to take place in January, but
  4. Dinner
    1. At California Café
    2. Invitees
      1. Dean McConnaughay and Guest
      2. Mr. Casey and three guests
      3. Three spots for the Dickinson Democrats
      4. Executive Committee of the Toastmasters
      5. Could cut it down to somewhere around 15 people
  5. Dickinson Democrats and Toastmasters have the funding for a reception
  6. Don’t need any help setting it up, but just need funding
  7. After discussion, the proposal was accepted
  8. Would like to limit dinner to
    1. 10 students
    2. Dean McConnaughay
    3. Mr. Casey and his associates

  1. Request from the Dean to assist with publicity
    1. Do the posters
    2. Encourage students to attend
    3. Co-sponsoring with the Federalist society
  2. He is doing a teach-in at in the student lounge next week
  3. Wrote the torture memo for the Bush administration

  1. Law humorist who contacted Josh directly
  2. Probably not a big draw
