- Scheduling next year
- Josh would like Speakers Trust to
spearhead an effort to schedule all
organizational speakers next year
- Work with the academic schedule
- Attempt to spread out speakers so
that more people are able to attend
- Speakers Trust is only encouraging
organizations to schedule though us
- This is not forced
- Works to everyone’s benefit
because speakers will be better
distributed throughout the semester
- Speakers Trust hopes to sponsor two speakers
a year
- John Podesta
- Potentially coming October 21
- May come earlier in the fall
- Need to work with Appellate Schedule
- Will cost between $3,000 and $4,000
- Has been invited by a personal
friend
- Dickinson Democrats will co-sponsor
- Open forum
- Tim has spoken with Bill Scranton
- If he receives the Republican gubernatorial
nomination, he will probably come to
speak
- If he does not receive the nomination,
hopefully that candidate will speak
- Josh suggested taking groups to meet
with speakers at their place of work
