information we can make a decision
Ladunni Irele
BALSA has invited
a panel consisting of prominent African-American
lawyers, who will offer advice about
different paths for success in the
legal profession
Have requested $150
for dinner and a reception
We would like BALSA
to petition SBA first
If SBA cannot supply
the money, then we can do so
Other Business
There is stationary in the
Speakers Trust mail folder if anyone needs
to send letters or invitations
Abigail will update the website
with the biographies of last semester speakers
There is still confusion between
the SBA Budgeting guidelines and our bylaws
SBA does not provide
money for receptions or dinners because
they though the Speakers Trust would cover
these costs
Speakers Trust prefers
to assist with honorariums and travel
expenses
Need to have some resolution
before next year’s budgeting process
