The Soup Kitchen Club

The Soup Kitchen Club serves the Carlisle Salvation Army by buying, preparing, and serving food to the charity's soup kitchen patrons during several weekend dates of the academic year. Headed by a core group of students, the Soup Kitchen received overwhelming support from the larger student body last year and invites those with an interest in community service work to participate. The Soup Kitchen has now become a part of Project S.T.A.F.F., the community service organization at Penn State Dickinson. Students usually volunteer for about three hours per Soup Kitchen visit.
