The primary purpose of the LPS is to advance knowledge
and understanding of, and to promote interest in,
the interdisciplinary study of legal, moral, and
political philosophy. Members of the LPS will be
encouraged to participate in periodic reading groups
and informal discussions, and to sponsor speakers
to discuss issues related to legal philosophy.
Law & Philosophy Society Blog:
In an effort to stay connected to the PSU-DSL community
at University Park, and to engage the community
at large, the Law & Philosophy Society has created
a blog, available at: https://philawsophy.wordpress.com.
LPS members who have been invited to join the blog as authors are encouraged to post articles and comments, thereby furthering the purpose of LPS in maintaining an active and open dialogue about current philosophical legal issues. If you are a member of the PSU-DSL community and would like to be added as an author on the blog, please contact Amber Sizemore at ajs535@psu.edu.
Members of the community at large, regardless of affiliation with Penn State-Dickinson, are also encouraged to share their thoughts in the comment sections of the blog. We look forward to hearing from you!
