Heard something about
Brevity Something about it getting it right Getting it right To the point So I decided To truncate All of the confusion That invariably leads To those inevitable Conversations And let you know That yeah I've got a problem And no That problem Isn't you But if you just give me Back my heart For just a second I'm sure I could Iron out all the Perfunctory delusions And discontent distortions That ever caused my head To think for a second That I was ordinary And doubt that you did Love me I mean really, You've seen me Moreover You know me After all that Don't think you really |
Had a choice Now, now Don't get all excited About me telling you What you could choose All you have to do Is ask fate I'm sure she will Back me up I was really crazy To think otherwise I swear it was Because you had my heart So, if I could Kindly sir Get it back for a second I'll make sure That there are no more Whispers of contrition Or episodes of malfeasance To dive us apart Now back to brevity Since really that was the point Of all of this Incessant banter What really had happened Was I should've said Thank you Instead Of doubting You loving Every piece of me. |
