Animal Legal Defense Fund
(Penn State Dickinson Student Chapter)

Mission Statement
We are a newly-formed and enthusiastic official student chapter of the Animal Legal Defense Fund, a national organization composed of more than 700 attorneys who act as legal advocates improving the lives and interests of animals across the country.

Our Penn State Dickinson chapter will focus primarily on animal welfare. This organization meets regularly and holds additional activities as events occur. Everyone is encouraged to attend.

Major Activities

Educate others and ourselves about Pennsylvania law pertaining to animals
Stay abreast of national animal rights and animal welfare issues
Fight for tougher legislation for the prevention and punishment of animal abuse
Contribute however possible to the legal response against animal abuse in our community
Regular fundraising for local animal shelters and nonprofit organizations
