Books to Prisoners Project (B2PP)
Mission Statement
Recognizing that we as law students have a special
opportunity and obligation to help others, the purpose
of this organization shall be to gather and distribute
to incarcerated people books and literature on both
topics of legal interest and on a variety of other
topics. Additionally, we hope to raise awareness
of issues surrounding incarceration through events
and speakers, and to provide support for prisoners.
We hope to coordinate our efforts with other student
organizations at the law school, other universities
in the area and local libraries.
Major Activities
Collect books and donate to local prisons, assist
ex-offenders in finding employment.
