Haneman-Perksie Memorial Foundation Scholarship
Haneman-Perksie Memorial Foundation Scholarship was established to assist New Jersey residents in attending law school.
Amount:
Varies, is renewable
Eligibility Requirements:
- Applicants must be admitted to an ABA accredited law school.
- Applicant must be a resident of Atlantic County for one year prior to application.
- Scholarships are awarded in any year including the first year of law school.
- Annual number of scholarships are determined by the agency Board of Trustees.
- Awarding is based on academic ability, financial need, leadership potential, and character.

Samuel F. and Sara G. Feinman Fund
This fund was established to assist talented men and women pursuing their legal or medical education. The fund provides an interest-free loan based on financial need. Preference is given to students who live in the Greater Philadelphia region and of the Jewish faith who are enrolled in an accredited local law or medical school. It is a requirement of this fund that loan repayments begin within five years after graduation to ensure that future funds will continue to be available for students in need.
Amount:
$2,000-$5,000 (interest free loans)

Ida Foreman Fleisher Fund
This fund was established to assist talented women in becoming professionals. The fund provides scholarships for the purpose of permitting all women, preferably Jewish, to obtain professional educations.

Chief Justice Samuel J. Roberts Scholarship

Adler Pollock & Sheehan Diversity Scholarship
This scholarship was established to support students who are members of a diverse groups.
Amount:
$10,000 one-year award
Eligibility Requirements:
- Applicants must be first-year students entering an ABA-accredited law school anywhere in the United States.
- Applicants permanent residence must be in Rhode Island or Massachusetts and desire to work in state after graduation.
- Applicants must demonstrate strong academic achievement.
- Applicants must demonstrate financial need.
- Applicants must demonstrate commitment to community.
- Applicants must possess vision of contributions to the profession and community post-graduation.

Faerie L. Angle Law School Educational Trust
This trust was designed to provide Franklin County, PA residents who are studying law at an accredited institution with financial support. Note: 50% is in form of a scholarship and 50% is a loan.

$2,000 (minimum), renewable
Eligibility Requirements:
- Applicants must be prior or current residents of Franklin County, PA or graduates of any Franklin County, PA high schools.
- Applicants must demonstrate strong prior and current academic performance.
- Applicants must demonstrate proficiency on law school aptitude tests.
- Applicants must demonstrate superior effort toward self-improvement, motivation, and character.
- Applicants must demonstrate financial need.
- Applicants must supply letters of recommendation from instructors.

Indiana County Bar Association
Any person with a history of residency in Indiana County, PA prior to high school graduation who is currently a college senior or college graduate and is accepted into or currently enrolled in an accredited law school of the American Bar Association is eligible to apply.
Amount:
$2, 500 annually

- Applicants must have financial need.
- Applicants must demonstrate academic merit.
- Applicants must demonstrate character.

The eligibility criteria listed should be addressed within your letter of interest. Applicants must also include the following: college transcripts, acceptance letter or written confirmation of current enrollment in an accredited law school, and two letters of recommendation. Seidel
Family Scholarship
The Seidel Family Scholarship was established for current or former residents of Berks County who are or will be attending The Dickinson School of Law of Penn State University.
Francis F.
Seidel, II established the fund to honor his son,
Francis F. "Fritz" Seidel, III who was a
Dickinson School of Law graduate and perished in a
1991 fire with his son.
Amount:
The annual amount of this award will be determined
by the Berks County Community Foundation. Past awards
have been approximately $8,000. This scholarship may
be renewable for the second and third years of legal
study.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Applicants must have been a resident of Berks County, Pennsylvania for at least two consecutive years during their secondary school years.
- Applicants must be entering or currently attending the Penn State Dickinson School of Law to be eligible to apply.

Honorable Nathan C. Staller Law Scholarship Foundation
This Foundation was established in honor of the late Nathan C. Staller, a Southern New Jersey trial attorney and Judge of the New Jersey Superior Court, to support qualified law school students from Southern New Jersey.

- Applicants must be enrolled in law school and residents of the following counties in New Jersey: Cape May, Atlantic, and Cumberland.
- Applicants must demonstrate academic merit.
- Applicants must demonstrate financial need.

The Richard P. Noll Scholarship Fund
The Richard P. Noll Scholarship Fund is intended to provide scholarships to deserving, needy law students from the greater York, PA area.
Amount:
Approximately $1,000.
Eligiblity Requirements:
- The applicant must be a current or entering law student at a Pennsylvania law school.
- The applicant must from the York, PA area.
- The applicant must have a demonstrated financial need as evidenced by their financial aid applications.
How to Apply:
Interested applicants should request a 2008-09 application by contacting Susan Bogart at sab36@psu.edu or (717) 240-5256. Two applicants will be selected from those submitted to the Penn State Dickinson School of Law and forwarded to the final selection committee. Decisions will be made by August 31, 2008.

Wayne R. Donahue Memorial Scholarship
The Wayne R. Donahue Memorial Scholarship was established to assist Westmoreland County residents with attending law school.

- Applicants must be enrolled in a Pennsylvania ABA accredited law school.
- Applicants considered based on grade point average and class standing, if available, and financial need.

Donald Laird Hankey Memorial Scholarship
The Donald Laird Hankey Memorial Scholarship was established to assist Westmoreland County residents with attending law school.

- Applicants considered based on grade point average and class standing, if available, and financial need.

York County Bar Association Diversity Pipeline Scholarship
This scholarship was established by the York County Bar Association and York County Bar Foundation to increase the number of minority attorneys in York County.
Amount:
$3,500 (two annual awards). Recipients will also be considered for summer 2009 paid internships.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Applicants must be students of color and enrolled in law school.
- Applicants must be from Central PA.
- Applicants must be in good academic standing.
- Applicants must have an interest in practicing law in the Central PA region, preferably in York County.

Keystone Bar Association Justice Robert N.C. Nix, Jr. Scholarship
This scholarship was established by the Keystone Bar Association to support African American, Hispanic, and Native American law students.
Amount:
$750, varies from year to year.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Applicants must be first and second year African American, Hispanic, or Native American law students enrolled in Penn State Dickinson School of Law or Widener Universiy School of Law, Harrisburg campus.
- Applicants must demonstrate financial need, academic achievement, and potential for making a contribution to society and the legal profession.
- Applicants must complete a form and submit an essay detailing how they meet the aforementioned criteria and include letters of recommendation from three individuals, i.e., advisor, professor, dean, employer, or attorney.
