Professor Mogill teaches and writes in the areas
of torts, remedies, and evidence and has written in
the areas of constitutional law, professional responsibility,
trial practice and media relations. Professor Mogill
also teaches Comparative Civil Procedure-Remedies
in Dickinson's summer abroad program. Before entering
law teaching, Professor Mogill practiced law in general
private practice and he served as managing attorney
of the Georgia Legal Services Program in Gainesville,
Georgia. In addition to teaching and writing, Professor
Mogill is active in professional organizations, serving
as a member of the Civil Justice Advisory Group of
the United States District Court for the Middle District
of Pennsylvania, and as a charter member of the Pennsylvania
Bar Association Evidence Code Committee. He also is
a court-certified mediator and has served as a court-appointed
arbitrator.
