Cecily Giardina

Associate Law Librarian and Legal Research Professor Giardina manages the law library’s U.S. Government Depository collection, directs the acquisition of materials and coordinates the library’s collection development. In addition to guiding students through the legal research process, Professor Giardina provides valuable reference services to the many faculty, students and outside customers who regularly utilize the resources of our library. She teaches in the Legal Research course for first year law students and also provides instruction on advanced legal research in upper-level courses. Additionally, she is responsible for several library web sites.

Professor Giardina is a member of the American Library Association Government Documents Roundtable, the American Association of Law Libraries Government Special Interest Section and the Bar of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and has conducted legal research workshops for practicing attorneys.
