Professor Gatter, who joined the Penn State
Dickinson faculty in 2000, is one of the nations
leading young scholars in the field of health care
law. Professor Gatters scholarship has explored issues
of end-of-life decisions, informed consent, human
subject research, medical mediation and organ transplantation.
He recently completed an analysis of using law to
promote trust in medicine. Professor Gatter teaches courses
in contract law, the regulation of the health care
industry and law and medicine.
