Katrice Bridges

B.S., University of Illinois

Professor Bridges joined Penn State's Dickinson School of Law faculty in 2007 and teaches Federal Courts and Constitutional Law. After graduating from the University of Michigan Law School, cum laude, where she was a Contributing Editor of the Michigan Law Review, she clerked for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

Professor Bridges most recently was an associate with Sidley Austin LLP in Washington, D.C., where her practice focused on constitutional litigation and white collar criminal defense. At Sidley, she was the principal author of two Supreme Court briefs involving criminal and constitutional law issues. She also worked on briefs involving constitutional law issues in the 7th, 8th, 9th and D.C. Circuits. In addition, as part of her white collar crime practice, she conducted internal investigations of corporations in matters involving Health Care fraud and abuse, violations of the Securities laws and violations of OSHA regulations.

Professor Bridges is admitted to practice in Illinois, the District of Columbia, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
