Mark J. Palchick has been an attorney in the communications
field since he graduated from The Dickinson School
of Law in 1975. He currently works at Womble, Carlyle,
Sandridge & Rice and has served as an adjunct
professor at the Law School since 1994. He teaches
Communications Law at Penn State Dickinson.
Mr. Palchick represents competitive telecommunication
providers in the Caribbean, submarine cable licensees,
cable television group owners and local school districts.
He previously worked as an attorney with the Federal
Communications Commission’s Cable Television
Bureau, as general counsel and assistant secretary
of Cablevision Industries, Inc., and as policy advisor
and legal counsel to the National Telecommunications
& Information Administration.
