Donald Marritz is a staff attorney at Regional Housing
Legal Services, a state-wide legal aid program which
provides legal and technical assistance to low-income
clients to help them develop affordable housing, create
economic opportunities, and revitalize communities.
Mr. Marritz is the author of two works about the
state constitutional law — "Making Equality Matter
(Again): The Prohibition Against Special Laws in the
Pennsylvania Constitution," 3 Widener J. Pub.
Law 161 (1993), and a chapter about Article I, sec.
11 of the Pennsylvania Constitution, concerning open
courts and the right to a remedy, in the book The
Pennsylvania Constitution: A Treatise on Rights and
Remedies (2004) (Gormley, et al., editors).
He teaches Legal Problems of Indigents as an adjunct
professor at Penn State Dickinson.
