Stephanie Jirard

Stephanie Jirard is a former Navy Judge Advocate General (JAG) stationed in Louisiana and Washington, D.C. She was a Trial Attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice in the Civil Division, Torts Branch. Professor Jirard was then an Assistant U.S. Attorney and an Assistant Federal Public Defender, both in the District of Massachusetts. She then defended death-penalty clients as an Assistant Public Defender in the capital litigation unit in Columbia, Missouri. She now teaches at Shippensburg University, Pennsylvania.
