DisabilityInfo.gov, one of President George W. Bush's Initiatives, is a one-stop interagency directory of government links to disability-related information. The links are arranged in broad categories including civil rights, education, employment, housing, health, income support, technology, transportation, and independent living.

GovBenefits.gov, launched in April, 2002, is a collaborative effort of federal agencies including the U.S. Departments of Labor (managing partner), Agriculture, Education, Energy, Health and Human Services, Homeland Security, Housing and Urban Development, State, Veterans Affairs, and the Social Security Administration. The website provides federal and state benefits eligibility information and contains a questionnaire to assist in determining potential eligibility.

Social Security Network is a project of The Century Foundation, a policy think tank founded in 1919 with its headquarters in New York City and offices in Washington, D.C. Georgetown University’s Center on an Aging Society, a non-partisan public policy institute based in Washington, studies the impact of demographic changes on public and private institutions and families of all ages.
