ACCOMMODATIONS
We have special rates for the Tax Institute at the following: Algonquin and City Club (both across the street) and Holiday Inn Express (around the corner).
Algonquin Hotel

The Algonquin Hotel has a block of rooms available to Tax Aspects of M & A participants at the rate of $379 per deluxe queen room per night, not including tax and New York Occupancy tax. Subject to availability, reservations can be made up to Monday, March 24, 2008. Please state that you are requesting a reservation under the Tax Aspects of M & A room block.

Reservations may also be confirmed by calling the Algonquin Hotel at (212) 840-6800, or toll-free at (888) 304-2047. Fax requests for reservations should be sent to the attention of the Reservations Department at (212) 944-1618. All reservations must be accompanied by a first night room deposit, or guaranteed with a major credit card. Individual reservations must be cancelled no later than one (1) week prior to intended arrival in order to avoid cancellation charges. Please obtain a cancellation number from the reservations agent or they cannot guarantee a credit will be issued.
Rooms are available for check in after 3:00 p.m. and check out time is 12:00 noon. Luggage storage is available for early arrivals and late departures. Parking for guests is across the street at a nightly charge of $34.

City Club Hotel

Subject to availability, City Club is pleased to offer a rate of $325 per night for Queen Luxe Rooms and $375 per night for King Luxe rooms for the Tax Institute for April 23-26, 2008. Please reference the group name (Tax Institute) and detail your arrival and departure dates. All reservations are based on availability; please reserve soon.
DRESS CODE
The dress for the Tax Institute is casual, so relax and bring comfortable attire.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
For live programs and video replays, refunds and program credits are available provided cancellation is made in writing and received by the City Bar Center prior to April 22, the first day of the program. A $25 administrative fee will be charged for all refunds. The cancellation fee will be deducted directly from the refund. For program credits, no administrative fee will be charged. Program credits must be used toward a City Bar Center program within one year of the original program date. Cancellations must be in writing and faxed to the City Bar Center at (212) 869-4451. Refunds and program credits are not available for the purchase of tapes, CDs, course materials or online programs.
Advance registration is advised. An additional fee of $25 will be charged for “walk-in” registrations — those received later than 3:00 p.m. one business day prior to the program.
