The Institute will explore current tax developments and planning opportunities relating to mergers and acquisitions. The speakers include nationally recognized corporate tax specialists and top Treasury and IRS officials. The program starts on Wednesday evening with a panel entitled “Basic M&A Tax Rules” and continues on Thursday and Friday with an in-depth look at a full range of issues.

For those attending one full day of the program, i.e. April 24 or 25, the price will be 50% off the full price that is applicable.

 

CLE Credits

The New York City Bar is an accredited CLE provider in New York, California, and Illinois. For those seeking CLE credit in New York or California, attendance at all three (3) days of this program will provide a total of 17 credits: 15.0 in professional practice, 1.0 in ethics, and 1.0 in skills. The credit breakdown for each day is as follows: April 23 — 2.0 in professional practice; April 24 — 7.5 in professional practice; April 25 — 1.0 in ethics, 1.0 in skills, and 5.5 in professional practice. This program provides transitional/non-transitional credits. Illinois credit differs as it is based on a 60-minute credit hour.

The Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board has approved this program for 14.0 hours of substantive law, practice, and procedure CLE credit and 1.0 hour of ethics, substance abuse, and professionalism CLE credit.
