Law School to Sponsor Group Admission to the U.S. Supreme Court
The Penn State Dickinson School of Law will sponsor a group admission to the U.S. Supreme Court on Monday, April 2, 2007, in Washington, D.C. The invitation is open to all Dickinson Law School alumni who meet the admission requirements of the U.S. Supreme Court Bar.
To qualify for admission to the Supreme Court Bar, applicants must have been admitted to practice in the highest court of a state, commonwealth, territory or possession, or the District of Columbia for a three-year period immediately preceding the date of application; must not have been the subject of any adverse disciplinary action during that three year period; and must be of good moral and professional character. During the last group admission on April 4, 2005, more than 30 alumni were admitted upon the motion of General Alumni Association President Luci Jankowski McClure.
