1961
A. Richard Gerber, principal in the
Blue Bell, PA firm of Gerber & Gerber, was appointed
chairman of the Pennsylvania Securities Commission
by Governor Edward G. Rendell, effective August 26,
2004.
1968
Gerald J. Brinser was the presenter
at a Wills Clinic held September 18, 2004. Gerald’s
practice, as a senior partner at Brinser, Wager and
Zimmerman, is in the areas of estate planning, including
wills and trusts, estate settlement and real estate.
He has conducted numerous seminars on wills and trusts.
He is also an ordained minister in the United Christian
Church. Gerald resides with his family in Palmyra,
PA.

Stephen B. Killian will be installed
as a member of the Board of Trustees of Wyoming Seminary
College Preparatory School during it’s fall
meeting.
1982
American Home Bank of West Hempfield Township (PA)
named John C. Oszustowicz to its
Carlisle Advisory Council. He specializes in financial
and business matters. John is a director with American
Construction Mortgage, Inc., a subsidiary of American
Home Bank.
1983
Michael E. Scullin was profiled in
the Philadelphia Business Journal on September 10,
2004. He is the CEO of Breast Health Institute.
1984
Mark Heesen, President of the National
Venture Capital Association recently was selected
to chair the World Economic Forum's China Business
Panel on Private Equity in Beijing. He also spoke
before the China Venture Capital Association on the
state of the US market and its receptivity to investing
in China.
1986
Effective July 15, 2004, Daniel Amidon
was appointed general counsel for Wheeling-Pittsburgh
Steel Company, the sixth largest steel company in
the United States.
1987
Laurie Israel and her personal partner
of 17 years, Elaine Sidney, were legally married September
12, 2004 in Quincy, MA. Rabbi Karen Landy, a Reconstructionist
rabbi, officiated at the ceremony, which was attended
by 165 guests. Laurie has a general civil practice
in Brookline, MA.
1990
Cunningham and Chernicoff of Harrisburg named Bruce
J. Warshawsky a senior attorney. Bruce will
practice in the areas of commercial law, estates and
estate planning.
1991
Wendy P. (Goodspeed) Witt and Elizabeth
A. Burkett have formed the law firm of Witt Burkett,
LLC. The firm practices elder law and estate planning
and administration.
1993
Virginia Ryker and her family have
returned to the United States after 12 years in Norway.
The Rykers have settled in Annapolis, MD. Virginia
is working for the law firm of Lochner and Schwenk
handling civil litigation focusing mainly on maritime
matters for both commercial and pleasure craft.
1995
William T. Jeter is territory sales
representative with Cardinal Health – Snowden
Pencer MIS.
1997
In August, 2004, G. Scott Paterno
spoke at the Republican National Convention in New
York, NY.
Florine Lori Winger received an
M.B.A. from Penn State in August. Lori is currently
a Lancaster County Court of Common Pleas judicial
law clerk for the Honorable Henry S. Kenderdine, Jr.
1998
Chris and Sara (Anderson) Frey welcomed
a daughter, Katelyn Jo Frey, on August 6, 2004. Sara
was recently promoted to member of the law firm of
Cozen O’Conner, Philadelphia, PA.
1999
Kelly Herten Decker and her husband
Chad welcomed their daughter Emma Katherine, born
on July 30, 2004.
Nicole E. Francis married Philip
Hadaway in New Orleans, LA on April 17, 2004.
Donald B. Lynn Jr. recently became
a partner in the firm of Larmore, Scarlett, Myers
& Temple, LLP.
Marel A. Raub was named the first
full-time Pennsylvania delegate director to the Tri-state
Chesapeake Bay Commission.
2001
Samantha L. Conway is an associate
with Christie, Pabarue, Mortensen and Young, Philadelphia,
PA.
2003
Gregg Hilzer recently passed the
New York and New Jersey Bar exams. This fall, after
completing his current judicial clerkship for the
Honorable David B. Rand of the Superior Court of New
Jersey, he will be joining the firm of Riker Danzig,
Scherer, Hyland & Perretti LLP in Morristown,
NJ. He has relocated into New York City and so far
enjoys it.
