Tuition and Fees
Tuition and study materials for the program is $4,000 USD for the three-week certificate program. Incoming Penn State Law LL.M. students will pay only $2,000 (excluding housing). Any student enrolled in the course who joins the LL.M. program at Penn State Law within two years, will receive a $2,000 tuition credit toward their LL.M. tuition.
Some lunches will be covered by the program; however, students can expect to pay approximately $400 to cover their remaining meals which can be purchased on or off campus. On-campus housing costs are approximately $500 USD. Transportation costs for field study are included in the tuition costs. Personal excursion fees are not included. Students are required to purchase the Penn State University AETNA Health Insurance plan available through student health services which is approximately $365.
Participants are required to have medical insurance coverage. This coverage is available through Penn State Health Insurance office at http://studentaffairs.psu.edu/health/services/insurance/international.shtml
Participants will attend classes in the Lewis Katz Building on the University Park Campus. Watch a virtual tour of the law school. The Law School facilities were dedicated in 2009 and have cutting edge classrooms, courtroom, and technology. The campus has fitness facilities.
Transportation and Travel
It is advisable to plan to arrive on campus July 13 for housing check-in and technology orientation. The Penn State Law International Programs office will help you coordinate your study visa and can advise you on travel. Additional helpful information can be found on our International Student Pages.
