Stanley M. Brand supervises the Semester in Washington internship program. As the founding member of the Brand Law Group in Washington, D.C., Professor Brand has enjoyed success representing corporations, trade associations, labor unions, and individuals in major justice department, grand jury and independent counsel investigations and trial proceedings including Whitewater, HUD, the savings and loan crisis and the campaign finance task force investigations.
Professor Lance Cole's research and teaching interests reflect his practice experience in white collar criminal defense, securities regulation law, and government investigations and prosecutions. Professor Cole researches the attorney-client privilege and the work product doctrine, government regulation of business entities, and legislative practice and procedure.
Professor Marion has advanced training in tax law and practiced in Harrisburg, PA, with a major law firm before coming to Penn State Law. She co-directs the Semester in Harrisburg Program, which enables selected students to spend their final semester of law school working for government agencies and non-profit organizations in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
