The Children’s Advocacy Clinic at Penn State Dickinson School of Law has been named a recipient of a 2013 Super Lawyers Pro Bono Award.
The Center for Children and the Law and the Center for Immigrants' Rights will host a brown bag lunch discussion with Richard Ross, an internationally renowned photographer whose current work focuses on juveniles in detention and treatment. The event will be held on September 17 in room 116 in University Park and be simulcast to room 013 in Carlisle. Ross will be at Penn State University as a guest of the School of Visual Arts.

As details of the Sandusky allegations at Penn State continue to flood national media outlets, the Student Bar Association (SBA) at Penn State Law hosted a panel discussion and forum for members of the Law School Community to attempt to clarify some of the legal issues involved in the case.
Older adolescents in foster care are among society’s most vulnerable populations and have recently become a focus of attention across Pennsylvania. As part of an initiative of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court’s Office of Children & Youth and Families in the Court, a working group convened at the Penn State Law Children’s Advocacy Clinic has advocated for an improved local judicial procedure and providing training for social workers, attorneys, and foster youth.
