Penn State Law students have the opportunity to develop and hone their advocacy skills through faculty-directed participation in a variety of national, local and intra-school mock trial competitions.
Each fall, the law school holds an intra-school mock trial competition for third-year students, where students have the opportunity to present a closing argument for either the prosecution or the defense in a criminal case.
- National Trial Competition, hosted by the American College of Trial Lawyers
- Trial Advocacy Competition, hosted by the American Association for Justice
