Directions to Carlisle
While our existing facility is under renovation,
the Law School is operating from its transition space
at 1170 Harrisburg Pike in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
From Harrisburg International Airport:
Exit the airport and take 283 West approximately four
miles to the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-76W). Proceed
west (toward Pittsburgh) approximately 20 miles to
Carlisle exit 226. Follow directions from the Pennsylvania
Turnpike below.
From Pennsylvania Turnpike: Take
Carlisle exit 226 and follow U.S. 11 North toward
Harrisburg. Proceed through the first traffic light.
You will see the law school building on your left.
Go to the next traffic light and turn left onto North
Middlesex Road. On your left is a sign for the law
school. Turn left onto this road and follow it to
the law school building.
Traveling North on Interstate 81: Take
exit 52B, the Middlesex exit (Rt. 11S), and go to
the end of the exit ramp. Follow U.S. 11 South through
four traffic lights. The law school is on the right
side immediately past McDonald’s.
Traveling South on Interstate 81:
Take exit 52, the New Kingstown/Middlesex exit (Rt.
11S), and turn right at the end of exit ramp. Proceed
through three traffic lights. The law school building
is on the right side immediately past McDonald’s.
From Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey:
Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-76W) to Carlisle
exit 226 and follow directions above from the Pennsylvania
Turnpike.
From Washington, D.C.: Follow Route
270 North to Route 15 North. Exit Route 15 at Route
94 North (York Springs) and follow 94 North toward
Mount Holly. Proceed on 34 North into Carlisle. Get
on 81 North and follow directions above for “Traveling
North on Interstate 81.”
From Pittsburgh: Take the Pennsylvania
Turnpike (I-76 E) to Carlisle exit 226. Follow directions
above from the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
From New York, NY, and Northern New Jersey:
At the George Washington Bridge, take the New Jersey
Turnpike and follow signs onto I-78 West (by Newark
Airport); I-78 ends at Interstate 81. Take I-81 South
to exit 52A, the New Kingstown exit (Rt. 11S), and
follow the directions from “Traveling South
on Interstate 81.”
Air and rail: Harrisburg International
Airport (HIA) is less than 30 minutes from Penn State
Dickinson with direct flights from major cities. For
more information, visit HIA's
web site. The local airport for general aviation
is Carlisle Business Airport.
Amtrak provides train service to downtown Harrisburg
from Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, with connections
from many other cities.
