The Corpus Juris Society is a social organization within the Law School composed of second- and third-year students, who are initiated by invitation. The purpose of the Society is to provide social functions for students, spouses, and friends. To that end, Corpus Juris provides a vital service. A welcome party for first-, second-, and third-year students, a fall Barristers' Ball, and the spring dance are sponsored by the Society. Awards are also presented to the outstanding second- and third-year law students each year.
The Corpus Juris Society is one of the oldest student run organizations at The Dickinson School of Law in Carlisle, PA. Membership is by invitation only.
